Debate Quotes was my first assignments after joining Obama for America, and my re-introduction to Rails after not using it in over a year.
It was built to keep track of, call out, and fact check quotes during the early Republican debates.
Technically, it was a basic CRUD Rails application that exposed both normal views and a JSON based API for use by the front-end.
We had this application in production 72 hours after I joined the campaign and iterated on it for another debate a few weeks later.
